A retreat is an opportunity for you to rest and relax in peaceful and calm surroundings. To put aside daily life and spend time in prayer and meditation, an opportunity to restore oneself.
Going on retreat can help to calm in times of stress, can enhance your wellbeing and lead to greater understanding of your spiritual needs
There are several ways you can make a retreat:
- An individual retreat, for the person who wishes to spend time alone, for prayer and contemplation.
- Individually guided retreats. On an individually guided retreat, you will be accompanied by an experienced spiritual director throughout your retreat, and you will meet with your director for a short time each day, for support and guidance. Please let us know, when booking, if you would like this facility.
- A group retreat, here several people come together to share a time of retreat, group retreats are often themed.
When looking for a Retreat you need to choose one that is suitable for you. At the Well we generally offer individual retreats and individually guided retreats with occasional creative or themed retreats.
